Ain Tominaga is a Japanese dancer, choreographer, and creative producer based between Berlin and Japan. She began studying classical ballet at the age of six before continuing her education in France and Canada at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg, Coastal City Ballet, Arts Umbrella Performance Research Project, and Ballet Edmonton, where she developed a practice combining classical ballet, contemporary dance, improvisation, and collaborative creation.

She has performed internationally with Flock Works (ANIMA by Alice Klock & Florian Lochner), DART Dance Company (The one AND lonely by Jiri Pokorny), Ballett Theater Nordhausen (DORNRÖSCHEN by Ivan Alboresi), Dance Base Yokohama (Night Shades by Jiri Pokorny), and KK ART PROJECT (Wanderers by Dimo Milev), as well as appearing in Maud Le Pladec's Synchronicité for the Paris 2024 Olympic Opening Ceremony. Recent projects include Quarterlife: CREST at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium in Denmark, Li-Heng Kuo Wuu's Fifty,50 at Dance Company Osnabrück's choreoLAB, and Yoshito Sakuraba's Kaerazaru Mono.

Alongside her performance career, Ain has developed an active choreographic practice. Her works—including Boundary on G, Suibun, The Space Between Us, About M, and SAKURA SAKURA—have been presented internationally at venues and festivals including Radialsystem Open Studio Stage, 48 Stunden Neukölln, Le Chauffoir (France), and HenoTanz.

As the creative producer of AiN., she curates and produces interdisciplinary performance projects including HenoTanzand Piano × Dance Concert, while also serving as a founding member of the dance collective Ma. Her artistic practice centers on collaboration across disciplines and cultures, working with musicians, composers, visual artists, scenographers, filmmakers, and dancers to explore how performance can create shared physical and emotional experiences. Through both theatrical productions and site-specific performances, she investigates new ways of connecting artists, audiences, and space.
