Two bodies navigate the push and pull of human connection
—reaching, retreating, colliding, and missing. Through
heightened expressions and exaggerated gestures, they
expose the absurdity and beauty of everyday interactions. The
desire to unite is undeniable, yet words fail, movements
misalign, and understanding slips through the cracks. As
immigrants, they carry unspoken histories, their bodies
translating the struggle of communication across cultures and
identities. In this duet, separation and connection coexist,
revealing the delicate, often chaotic dance of human
encounter.
